Mae Fforwm Blynyddoedd Cynnar Conwy yn grŵp amlddisgyblaethol o gyrff sy'n gweithio i hyrwyddo gofal, addysg a datblygiad plant blynyddoedd cynnar o ansawdd uchel yn Sir Gonwy.

Mae'r fforwm yn elusen gofrestredig ac yn gwmni cyfyngedig trwy warant

(Elusen rhif 1067459 a Chwmni rhif 3431738).

Mae'r Fforwm wedi ei ariannu gan Adran Wasanaethau Addysg Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Conwy, Cronfa'r Loteri Fawr a grantiau bychain o nifer o wahanol ffynonellau.

Mae'r fforwm yn rhedeg dwy lyfrgell deganau deithiol. Mae Llyfrgell Deganau'r Blynyddoedd Cynnar yn ymweld â thros 100 o leoliadau'r blynyddoedd cynnar yn y sir gan gynnig teganau addysgiadol o safon iddyn nhw. Rydym ni'n gweithio'n agos â'r gweithwyr yn y gwasanaethau addysg sy'n cynghori'r sector blynyddoedd cynnar gwirfoddol. Mae hyn yn sicrhau bod gennym ni deganau sy'n cyd-fynd â themâu gwaith cyfredol y sector a'r safonau gofal, cynlluniau ariannu, arferion dysgu a gofynion y cyfnod sylfaen ayb y maen nhw'n ddarostyngedig iddyn nhw.

Rydym ni'n ymweld â phob rhan o'r sir ac felly, os ydych chi'n aelod o'r Fforwm ac am weld pa deganau sydd gennym ni a threfnu benthyg rhai am gyfnod, mae croeso i chi wneud - fe allwch chi anfon eich archeb drwy e-bost o'r wefan yma.

Mae'r Llyfrgell Deganau Cymunedol yn cynnal sesiynau "aros i chwarae" i blant dan bump yn ardaloedd gwledig Conwy. Mae'r llyfrgell hefyd yn cynnig teganau o safon i rieni eu benthyg, gwybodaeth a chyrsiau ar fagu plant a sesiynau chwarae bywiog sy'n annog y plant i wneud ymarfer corff. Mae hyn oll yn rhan o'n hymrwymiad i hyrwyddo ffordd iach o fyw i rieni a phlant yng Nghonwy. Mae ein gwaith yn canolbwyntio ar chwarae ac rydym ni'n ceisio cyrraedd cymaint o blant a rhieni ag sy'n bosib. Mae ein swyddfa ni yn Llanrwst, yn Ysgol Bro Gwydir. Cynhaliwyd sesiwn Tatty Bumpkin ar y 23ain Ionawr, gyda chriw mawr yn cymryd rhan! Roedd y sesiwn bore ym Metws yn Rhos a'r prynhawn yn Glasdir, Llanrwst. Roedd y rhieni, plant a'r babis i'w gweld yn mwynhau'n fawr iawn

Dosbarthiadau wedi’u hysbrydoli gan yoga ydi dosbarthiadau Tatty Bumpkin, ond maent hefyd yn brofiad creadigol a datblygol. Mae sesiwn yn troi o gwmpas y cymeriad Tatty Bumpkin, sy’n mynd â’r plant ar antur drwy gyfrwng stori a chân. Yn ystod y stori mae’r plant yn cymryd rhan mewn gweithgareddau corfforol, ymlacio, symudiadau yoga, darganfod gwead a’r synhwyrau, yn ogystal â chaneuon unigryw Tatty Bumpkin.

Ein haelodau staff yn y Llyfrgell Deganau yw Carol sy'n rhedeg y Llyfrgell Deganau Blynyddoedd Cynnar. Mae Sue wedi dod yn ôl o'r cyfnod mamolaeth, yn Swyddog Datblygu Cymunedol i'r Llyfrgell Deganau. Sarah – hi ydi Llyfrgellydd y Llyfrgell Deganau Cymunedol a hi sy’n gyrru’r fan mawr melyn ar hyd a lled Conwy, yn goruchwylio’r sesiynau ac yn croesawu aelodau hen a newydd i’r llyfrgell.

The Conwy Early Years Forum

The Conwy Early Years Forum is a multi disciplinary group of organisations working in partnership to promote quality care, education and development for early years children in the county of Conwy.

The forum is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee.

(Charity number 1067459 Company number 3431738).

We are funded by Conwy County Borough Council Education Services, the big lottery and small grants from different places.

The Forum operates two mobile toy libraries. The first one, Early Years Settings Toy Library, visits over 100 early years childcare settings in the county offering quality educational toys. We work closely with the education services department teaching staff who are advisors to the voluntary early years sector. This ensures we have appropriate toys to link in with themes etc, which are current with the childcare practitioners needs and the criteria they adhere to for care standards, funding initiatives, teaching practices, the foundation phase and so on.

The second Toy Library is the Community Toy Library which runs "stay and play" sessions for the under 5's in rural areas of the Conwy, which offers quality toys for parents to take home on loan, parenting skills information and courses, also sessions on active play which encourages physical activity in young children, this is part of our commitment to healthy lifestyles for parents and children in Conwy. By focussing our work through play we are encouraging involvement from as many children and parents as possible. We are based in Llanrwst, having an office in Ysgol Bro Gwydir. We held a Tatty Bumpkin session on 23rd January, which was well attended! The morning session was in Betws yn Rhos, and the afternoon session was in Glasdir, Llanrwst. Children, babies and parents all seemed to have a good time!

Tatty Bumpkin classes are inspired by yoga, but are very much a creative and developmental experience. A typical session centres around Tatty Bumpkin, a quirky character, who takes the children on musical story adventures. Within the stories the children take part in lots of physical activity, relaxation, yoga poses, exploring texture and the senses, as well as the unique Tatty Bumpkin songs.

Our members of staff at the Toy Library are Carol who runs the Early Years Settings Toy Library, Sue who has returned from maternity leave and is the Community Development Officer for the Community Toy Library. Sarah is the Toy Librarian for the Community Toy Library, driving the big yellow van visiting settings in the Conwy area, overseeing the sessions, and generally welcoming members old and new.
